I seen another tweet from the CEO stating that the August fins would only have the activity of TXTM prior to the merger, so not expecting to see anything earth-shattering until Nov fins.

I think you got the right idea though with "trade them don't marry them". There have been some great opportunities here to take profits keep some free shares, in case the CEO eventually delivers.
