Read the Empire Petroleum 10Q for Q3 last year and look at related party transactions

Empire Petroleum (EP) invested $1.25m in Energy Evolution Fund (one of its largest investors and a fund invested almost solely in EP) for a good chunk of last year! How could there ever be a proper reason for an Energy company to invest in an Energy Hedge fund, for however short a period, let alone a fund that was a major investor in itself, whose chief investment officer was the chairman of the Energy company and whose Chief Compliance Officer was a Director of itself?!
