edesheim...increased my YBGJ position......

Hello Potse, are you still following YBGJ? It has been somewhat quiet and I saw the recently filed prospectus. What do you think about the state of the business with YBGJ? Any shared insights would be highly appreciated. Thank you and all the best!

I am definitely disappointed/concerned by the decline in YBGJ's revenues. I was fully expecting to see better or more consistent revenue numbers by now (even though a resurge in pandemic-related issues in 2022 has presented a challenge for a number of China-based companies). The existence of Beijing Bihe Biotechnology is something that continues to puzzle and somewhat concern me. I have not really noticed anything of major significance recently on any of the YBGJ social media accounts (but as I mentioned in my previous post, I may miss things at times).

Despite the negative things I said above, I increased my position in YBGJ with a purchase of 50K shares on August 1 at prices of 10 cents and under. I decided to increase my position after the S-1 filing was finally declared effective on that date. It seems somewhat baffling/ridiculous to me that it has taken the SEC almost 15 months to finally approve this filing. I am aware that there was a very brief period of time (only a few weeks or so in late 2021 I think?) during those 15 months when the SEC refused to let Chinese companies sell any securities until the SEC could form/craft mandatory disclosure guidelines (basically boilerplate risk disclosures) for Chinese companies. But as far as I am aware YBGJ's S-1 filings have always contained whatever disclosures/compliance the SEC has requested. A 15-month wait to get a S-1 filing declared effective seems excessive to me.

I did not notice any changes in the terms of the proposed financing and insider sales:
fixed price at 50 cents. Although there is definitely high-risk involved here, now that the filing is declared effective I find the risk/reward of buying some shares here around the 10-cent level to be interesting.
