Epidiolex went through the FDA clinical trials and also had to be approved by the DEA.

Now the manufacturing has a great deal more oversight and the DEA descheduled Epidiolex in 2020.

If a company isn't willing to go through the rigors of the FDA clinical trials they shouldn't complain about the companies that did as it was very costly.
