I am kinda-sorta tempted to say that feel sorry for the MRGE shareholder-victims, butt I simply do nott. Nor is it likely I ever will. They are victims of their own greed and carelessness.
It literally took me only a few hours of DD on MRGE - starting with reading and understanding the 10-Ks and the disclosure about CMW to see what was going on here - a scam.
A few DuckDuckGo and other database searches (available to anyone!) and it was abundantly clear that CMW was/is nothing butt a career grifter, swindler of investors, crook, and pathological liar. And that he has been pulling the same, in this case EXACTLY THE SAME, swindle he has used before to cheat other investors.
It was so OBVIOUS that I simply have zero empathy for anybuddy stuck holding the worthless MRGE stock - hell, CMW even taunted investors by calling this cycle of his charades MIRAGE - I mean cheeze CMW is flaunting his swindling right in pennyvestors' faces - similar to Gambit - by naming the company after the word for illusion - mirages are fake and illusions that make people think that if they just keep walking - stick with it - they will find water - butt they won't - just like MRGE shareholder-victims have found nothing but emptiness here (and in their brokerage accounts) no matter how long they have been walking. He even gott the PPers to walk a long way into the desert after they had already been swindled as retail pennyvestors in the scam exact scam. The he clipped them as wholesale pennyvictims with the PPs, using their greed and their unwillingness to face the reality of their existing losses against them.
The only one drinking here is CMW. And he has drank quite a lott on the MRGE shareholder-victims (and the PPers!!!) tab.
And I predict CMW will resurrect this scam yett again (Tidelands IV?) with a new ticker and a new cropp of unsophisticated pennyvestors to shear (and shear).
Because if you examine CMW's life history it is impossible to NOTT see that he has been a crook and a liar since his youth. His is an entire life built around swindling investors. It is all he has done. It is who he is. He will nott be changing his stripes.
The politically correct thing would be for me to express empathy for the MRGE losses. Butt I cannot because that would be coddling those who need to learn the lesson of either nott doing or ignoring serious due diligence AND the foolhardiness of pennystocks.
Some may learn from this experience, butt most will nott. Which is one reason why crooks like CMW can make a career - and a decent-paying one - ~OUTT of swindling pennyvestors for many decades - often re-shearing them with gambits like PPs.
