So I went to uWink tonight for the first time. It was awesome. We got there at about 5 PMm so there was a 5 minute table setup wait...by about 7, it was pretty much packed. The only thing I didnt like was that it was hard to get more water. I for some reason, drink massive loads of water when im at dinner so I constantly need a refill. Theres no one going around giving water refills, so its a little difficult. And when you order a refill, theres no quantity select on the refills. Kinda weird..but still an awesome system..just a small little kink. I thought the whole swipe card dealy to order was interesting. I think they could possibly add a Credit card swiper at the table computer to make it even easier like the auto checkouts at grocery stores and such. I also felt as if they could add more of those table top game things as I only found 2 in the whole restaurant which were constantly filled and way aways from our table. I also felt it would be neat to have sort of a user account you could create which could alert you on your past item purchases, past games played, your previous high scores, etc. etc. etc. and maybe for frequent comers offer up some built in coupon codes on the computer. Just some thoughts I had...
and on a VERY positive note...
my girlfriend went into the bathroom when we were leaving and saw a waitress in there taking a break, as she hadn't been able to get off all day (she had been working since 1PM). She said it has been crowded all day so she hadn't been able to take a break so she felt the need to take an unnecessary break.
I wish I could invest more money in this company as I believe it is headed far and could be in for many folds in the stock price, but unfortunately I am only 17 and lack funds (I have a little over a 1/3 of my portfolio invested in uwnk..so a little over $2000 at about 1100 shares I believe). These are times where I wish I had more money.......
