"User profile"

I have some sort of corrupted Java issue on my PB (waiting for an Apple fix). The Java issue is only with my 'user profile'. It looks like a conflict with some preference file in the home directory. Deleting the obvious preference files didn't help. If I create a new user, the Java issue goes away.

Apple Care suggested I migrate to a new user and then start dumping old preference files back in. The old preference files are saved to a disk image when the old user is deleted.

The 'User profile' contains all of the key chains, high game scores, browser settings, bookmarks, etc... I don't want to start fresh and I don't want to migrate if at possible. Waiting for the Apple fix...
