National Public Radio continues to provide updates on the monkeypox virus. So far, 99 percent of cases occur within the gay community. If the virus spreads into the general population, look out. It is imperative that the gay community, which tends to engage in sex with multiple partners, get regularly tested. This is why APDN is important. At present, roughly 25 percent of cases in the US are in New York. Which is why the governor and NYC mayor have issued high alerts.
