You can't "obliterate" it! It's readily available.
Speculation about management motives is quite meaningless (esp. on anonymous boards).

This company is not at point zero in its development. They have accumulated vast amounts of knowledge about applying the technology to a variety of medical problems, and now they're moving toward the obvious target of food manufacture. The basic principles are the same, the differences are obvious (scale, purity, regulatory process). PLUR is well established to capitalize on its accumulated experience.
