At the close today, AMD closed with a market cap of $153.1 billion.

INTC closed with a market cap of $148.5 billion.

To my knowledge this is the first time that AMD‘s market cap has exceeded Intel’s.

My guess is that Pat Gelsinger is not anywhere close to being an Andy Grove.

Pat seems to overpromise then under deliver. From yesterday‘s conference call, I got the impression that he still believes that Intel is superior to all his competitors in all regards. I suspect that he’s going to have a very difficult time catching up with Nvidia or with AMD. … Let alone surpass either of them.
