SR, You're right, everyone has skeletons, that discrimination and murder of journalists
are both huge negatives. Personally though, they are not even close to being equivalent.

"what gets me is everyone brings up the reporter that got killed but everyone forgets
that GOLF kept blacks out of country clubs for many years...everyone has skeletons.
"

Golf's discrimination against blacks essentially ended in 1961, 61ys ago. Note, lol, coincidentally the surname ..

It took until 1964 for a black player to win a PGA-sanctioned event after Pete Brown captured the Waco Turner Open.

The Masters, a last bastion of discrimination

The Masters, first played in 1934, didn’t extend an invitation to a Black competitor until 1975. The
club didn’t admit its first Black member until 1990 and didn’t offer membership to women until 2012.

lagged, but even then ended their ban almost 50ys ago. Ouch, noted women were only welcomed as members 10 years ago. 10 years ago. Mull on that.

Also discrimination against women and blacks in America has always been intrinsically and deeply systemic. More ingrained means difficult to eliminate.

Murder of a journalist on the other hand, particularly one living overseas at the time such as Khashoggi who lived in
your Virginia, while sadly not as unusual as it should be, is not at least nearly as systemic, even in Saudi Arabia ..

Obviously for a myriad of reasons countries and political individuals have to deal with Mohammed
bin Salman. Golfers don't have to. Particularly multimillionaire golfers who hardly need the money.

Your position understood. That's just mine.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
