Of course, they do. Hence the term stuck holders.

Because they always hope the stock will run again and make them profits. They can't imagine taking a loss and admit they were wrong for playing the ticker they fell in love with.

Hope is not a solid trading strategy but when it's all you have, what are you going to do?

You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him get down on one knee and do an Al Jolson impression!
