Most here have been saying all along that OTC is their " risk" portion. I have been very successful in OTC but it has taken YEARS, to figure out " how it works". The Covid binge was a once in a decade perfect storm. Had 8, 2-10 baggers in a year...but that was an exception to most years, if one takes a value approach

I have talked about OTC historically ad nosium but most only want to listen and go off short term experience ONLY.

Now, is almost EXACTLY like Dot com crash of the early 2000s. After THAT binge...same thing happened...almost 2 years of little to no growth. I decide to look at undervalued exclusively and invested mostly in only 3 or 4 of the growth stocks that, Viable business platforms,, Had revenue, close to or already profitable, and showed YoY growth. It took around 2 years, bought the dips 3 or 4 times, but they did pay off...my best one,, a little online auction site called Ebay. Around a 5 bagger(which at the time was unheard of) but it TOOK TIME!!!

The 08 great recession had its own unique company options where profit could be extracted from Market collapse...but one has to be able to adapt and learn the best options.

If SFIO Oor OTC is to risky, then by all means, everyone should invest in that which theyre comfortable....but don't paint a broad brush to SFIO or OTC as devoid of opportunities if one is not willing to learn or adapt to the greater fluctuations or company setbacks.
