Had you done that you'd have gotten the correct information i.e. that you might still get Covid but that your chance of dying from it or going to the hospital was reduced by roughly 90%. Moreover, just like the flu, the effectiveness decreases over time so booster shots are recommended. That's all that you can expect from any vaccine. In fact the Covid vaccines are more effective than the flu shots you get every year ever were.
