I had the privilege of meeting Jim Lovell when he was with Centel Corp. While he didn't walk on the moon, he traveled to it twice.

I actually got to know Eugene Cernan. It wasn't widely known at the time, but he nearly died on the Gemini 9 EVA. He also walked on the moon, of that there is no doubt.
