I think it's also short covering. This industry has been heavily shorted this year and I think the shorts realize their days are numbered. Just as I expected though with the Schumer CAOA. Reaching too high and they need 60 votes. It will never happen. He just needed to get SOMETHING on the table to meet his "promise." Task complete.

I think the bill that Republican lady has been touting (can't think of her name at the moment, or the name of her bill) that is mostly about SAFE and States rights if I recall correctly... that one stands a better chance of actually going somewhere IMO.
