The number of people who joined the lawsuit = the amount of people desperate to see a recovery for their CT's. If people are this desperate then that = people who have fear of not seeing any return on their CT's. To play on that fear, you hype up the lawsuit as if it is the second coming of Christ, BUT at the same time, you let others know that if the lawsuit fails then the securities are worthless and you will sell. This = "hey you aren't alone I'm here with you, just let them go they are worthless" which is just a grand scheme illusion to get others to sell.
