Chatting it up with a CEO is the worst thing someone can do. They certainly aren't going to say anything negative about the company, are they? And if there was anything positive or meaningful TO say, they're obligated to tell everyone.

So, whatever they told you was just encouraging words that signify their personal hopes and dreams.

You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him get down on one knee and do an Al Jolson impression!
