The two products manufactured by Ocean PowerTech are in my opinion low tech products that no one currently buys and no one will buy in the future. It produces a buoy, a pb3, that costs over a million dollars. This cost was shown in public disclosure of their contract with Enel. The device produces only 350 watts on average when a home solar cell produces 400 watts and costs about 400 dollars. Then they purchased a toy pontoon boat company called MAR. 12 million purchase price with little or no sales.
