Based on the research, either a target is chosen or not.

I realize Melbourne was an HTQ project for over a decade before SFRX arrived, but what research pointed towards treasure?

I’ve yet to see it at either site.

And speaking of “void,” who gets the credit for coming up with the idea that treasure would be 5 miles from a ballast pile?

FWIW, it’s okay to rule out an area being a shipwreck site. Real salvors do it all the time and move to another area.
