BDSA Brand Insights: Top 5 brands to watch in the Nevada market

With its booming tourism industry and reputation as a destination for adults looking to cut loose, Nevada’s legalization of adult-use cannabis in 2016 signaled the start of a promising new market. While the Nevada cannabis industry was dealt a rough hand by the pandemic and the resulting dive in visitors to the state, the market has since recovered to pre-pandemic sales levels. As summer kicks into full swing, we thought it would be the perfect time to give a quick rundown on brands to watch in the Nevada cannabis market.

Happy to see AMA is now a Top 10 LP in Nevada based on actual cannabis sales data. Not surprising to anyone watching all the new AMA products coming to market this year in all the most popular categories. Paul is delivering on his promise to increase sales and production in 2022. 1933 has come a long way back since Paul took over the company. He's gotten this company back on the right track while battling pandemic headwinds. Impressive!!! Congrats Team!!! glta

Nevada Cannabis Consumption Lounges Could Go Live By End Of 2022

Cannabis consumption lounges, where adults 21 and older can openly use marijuana products in a social setting, are on track to open in Nevada by the end of this year following approval of regulations by the state’s Cannabis Compliance Board on Tuesday.

The lounges are widely seen as a boon for the state’s massive tourist industry, as well as for the tourists themselves. Since the state first launched legal sales in 2017—and even as Las Vegas’s cannabis retailers have become popular attractions—consuming marijuana anywhere outside a private home has generally remained illegal.

!933 would be smart to partner with these consumption lounges to secure shelf space before they open and even open one themselves depending on the costs involved. Paul is probably already on it.

Don't forget to vote for AMA in this years Las Vegas Cannabis Awards on July 10th. Last year AMA won awards for extraction and cultivation. Like :)
