I have a pos that's been lying dead in the bottom of my account on the Expert Markets for 15 years. I'm down $7,350.00 dollars or 95% on it (ZENG) and it might trade 100 shares once in a blue moon for 0.000001
My question is how can I get rid of it to realize a capital loss to offset my capital gains? Do I put up my 3,763,442 shares for sale at 0.000001 and hope it get's picked away at 100 shares at a time once every 3 months or can I call my brokerage and just have them delete it from my account for a capital loss?
$7,350.00 dollars would be a nice capital loss to offset some of my capital gains this year.
Thanks,
Snug
