Funny that you ask, he and I are twins, raised watching Rocky and Bullwinkle where "Wrong Way Peach Fuss" occasionally sailed onto the scene.
To your point, I often look at the 1X ETF and also the 2 or 3X if that's what I am interested in.
I didn't look at GDX this time, the whole PM thing and your immediate date/marker rattled me.
That said, I appreciate any pointers that you throw my way, and I don't take offence. Never by anyone whom I respect,
I cannot take criticism from someone whom I don't respect. Since I hold you in high regards after reading tons of your older posts from prior years to find out just who this Jglider Character was -- Thus, If my memory wasn't so bad, I would have know you a lot better, BUT, my Jglider research said that when you spoke, people should listen, you were right Very Often, Wrong hardly ever.

I am too old, my memory is too bad to absorb all your knowledge, if you tried to coach me every day -- I can relate to your hints and my visuals, thank goodness -- I hope that I never offend you, and any hints you throw out are dependent on your mood and how good you might be feeling, AND,
How busy you are -- BUT, I just plain like our conversations as ole fellas with memories of long gone Feldman's and such,

I like to use the XAU or GDX, some guys I work with use the HUI.,
HAH, I got no "GUYS" to talk stock market to, my friends don't know squat about it, and just know that I lost most of my 401k in the 2000 bust, and lousy risky stuff, and shut me out,
quite reasonable on their part,
My wife coulda save my azz, but she's too fearful of learning -- I can't stop laughing as I type this -- Wrong Way Feldman coulda taught me a lot, Still Laughing at Myself.
I finally have learned some, and am moderately able to use TOS to advantage.
And again, to your point, Ole Bliss bought that SPY put and it nearly doubled the next day,
I kept an eye on ole Bliss many years ago when he posted regular,
My wife can step out of a car, walk 5 feet into any yard with some clover in it, and pull up two to five 4-Leaf clovers, they leap into her focus -- I have always figured that she could see stock chart patterns jump out at her, I have never been able to get her to look at a stock chart -- Go Figure !!!
Don't celebrate too much/hard or let them bottle rockets hit you in the eye !!!
