imho, new SEC rule doesn't make any difference in OTC trading.

I believe most OTC traders are still trying to "game" the market. And by that I mean they are trying to time their trades to news and announcements that will temporarily increase stock price.

They then will try to time their exits as close as possible to a price peak.

Then wash, rinse, and repeat in the "right" situations (i.e. when a bounce off lows is anticipated).

My summary of current (and probably previous) OTC trading in a nutshell.

Especially NO buying and holding for more than a few hours, or at most, a couple of days.

Folks, this is NOT investing. This is gambling at best.
