You misremember the Thomas hearings. A graduate of Yale Law School, he denied ever, not once, having a discussion with anyone about Roe vs. Wade or abortion, in general. This might not be able to be proven as a lie, but, obviously, a total fiction.

Roberts kept mentioning "stare decisis" in his hearing, in answer to almost anything including Roe. Also, an obvious lie, unless he's claiming that since then his views have evolved - at the age of 60, or later.
