KEPCO KPS to promote 50MW fuel cell power generation project with US Fuel Cell Energy

"KPS Korea announced on the 24th that it had signed a business agreement for joint cooperation in the fuel cell power generation business with Eugene Fuel Cell Power (EPC) its SK subsidiary, and Fuel Cell Energy the day before."

"The three companies plan to cooperate in building a fuel cell power plant with a large-scale power generation capacity of 50MW that can be used by 150,000 households at the same time. The power plant is built in two stages and operated for 20 years after completion."

"KEPCO KPS is in charge of EPC (design, purchase, and construction) for fuel cell power generation facilities, and Eugene Fuel Cell Power is the implementer of this project, in charge of business development and operation, and Fuel Cell Energy will be in charge of supplying molten carbonate type (MCFC) fuel cell main equipment."
