I believe he is dedicated to the cause of helping people and unfortunately that ironically was the disconnect with shareholders.

The CEO largely dedicated his time explaining the vision, almost dismissing those who are " here for the money". Thus, his presentation contained very little focus on actual hard numbers, which shareholders wanted to hear.
And here we are.

CEO puts vision first and his benchmark is not money, but the amount of people he can help. He made that very clear.
Funny thing is ,if he HAD concentrated on numbers, shareholders would have called him a pumper. He sticks to the business model, and the stock crashes, go figure.

Shareholders are strange creatures, but from a CEO's perspective he really doesn't care who holds the shares ,only that there will always be another shareholder. He is focuses on the cause, building valuation, not the effect, shareprice , which is EXACTLY where you want the focus of the visionary of the company to be.
