Claiming again he loves the management, and that they are here long term actually. Which would be a huge stabilizing long-term force. He mentioned us briefly some minutes before, but it wasn't noteworthy.

It's hard to listen non-stop for a full hour, but I keep finding nuggets on further skims.

Dang, this guy is like a clone of my old friend in so many ways. He would talk to his guests like this. Just on and on and on. I used to tell our mutual former boss (we all remained in contact) that who can talk this much? I run out of things to say. My friend was just like this. He would just talk, talk, TALK to a whole group at events at his venues. Or at the construction site where someone would come ask what was being built. He didn't work. He just talked!

Everybody was falling over him when he was on top of the world. To me, he was just the lazy waiter I used to know. He used to cut corners and do all kinds of shady stuff. Never did his sidework completely or properly. He just talked 24/7. LOL Like this guy. Couldn't be trusted Had to actually inspect his work rather than take his word for it.

In fact, my friend was fired from Steak & Ale for missing shifts or something. He would go to a different unit, and get fired there too. Eventually, he was fired by the regional manager and banned from any Steak & Ales. LOL Which is funny in retrospect, considering he became the owner of this huge catering empire. Breathtaking stuff still exists that would not be there today had he never existed. And that's just the truth. Good delegator, but bad employee.

One day, he was mad about something somebody did at his business. And I said, but remember back at S&A when you did such and such. And he said, "#$#@ you! That was different. They deserved it..." LOL Oh well, I'll just keep my mouth shut.
