A lot of talk about - 38 years ago Kidrin did this and before 1990 WDDD did that. In my opinion, it makes them seem out of touch and not currently relevant, especially since they keep promoting what they did 30+ years ago. What is the big splash now?

Perhaps I am wrong, but people today are more concerned with - what have you done for me lately.

In my opinion, this Bowiefest will be a Bowieflop, as far as WDDD is concerned. Will they get some minor visibility due to the event - yes. Will it lead to monetization or revenue - no.
