Patents: The word from JP is that the patents are legit but *pending, which supposedly is a good thing because the patents are confidential and unavailable to the public/corporate world and serves as a protection somewhat from giant tech companies.

*Pending is not the exact word he used, but it is a similar term. When DC posts personally in re his visit, he can explain better.
