PAIM has 5,3 billion shares O/S and with a dividend of 1-100 they have to "pay" 53 million shares out. The only way they can do this is to forward split the oil company who prior to this only had 2,5 million shares O/S. They now have 250 million.
So I been expecting this move all along. We still get our dividend but it will be 1-10000 (after the split). So in effect our value will be the same.
