I’m sure those hoodies are going to sell like hotcakes. Who doesn’t want to drop $400 on a folded towel?

Sarcasm aside, their hoodie is a novelty item. Bolt sold ties for $314 each. But that was another novelty item. The market for these items is small. Spiber will not make $40 million selling brewed protein to Pangaea. I doubt they will even sell $4 million for these hoodies.

So far, Spiber does not appear to be much of a threat to KBLB. If their production costs are as high as you say, I expect their investors to lose their money. Hard to understand how investors can dump a bunch of money into a company knowing they have to come close to $30 per metric ton when actual costs are orders of magnitude higher. Their use of purple algae may be a game changer, but time will tell on that front.

Really hoping MtM doesn’t lead with a $500 90/10 cotton/DS hoodie.
