I don’t see a conspiracy here. A simpler explanation is that this is early days in a niche with a big future target market, where as yet the technologies involved are not clearly differentiated.

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
