Hi bbotcs, for the past 20+ years our culture has descended to where there are almost no consequences for lying or other bad anti-social behavior. We all grew up in fear of our parents, school authorities, and just about every other authority.

That fear has disappeared for a long time now. Adults dont want to be the "bad guys" toward their younger generation. For one thing, its a lot of work, lol. So the younger generation knows they can get away with a lot more than we did.
