i'd like to put to rest any qualms some traders may feel about investing in hurricane stocks, too, while i'm at it. i can't make hurricanes go away, and neither can any publicly traded company (or else i would invest in them..!)... but what i can do is support those companies that help people rebuild their lives after a storm makes landfall. i can also give profits to those affected by these disasters.

Hey brikk, no offense but what a load of shi, I mean crap! YOu're in the market to buy something that's going to be up when you sell it period. You're not supporting any company by buying their stock on the secondary market. And unless you're buying it in the time leading up to a secondary, which will support the price and maybe allow them to sell at a higher price, your buying and or selling has nothing to do with the company whatsoever!

You don't need to explain why you're buying stock and which one, you're trying to make money. The only people who lose are the ones who buy higher and then sell lower, and they are rarely the ones who are being literally affected by hurricanes!
