"Vale (NYSE:VALE) said on Wednesday it is launching a venture capital initiative to invest $100M in sustainable mining startups around the world, with a goal of holding 3%-5% stakes in the firms."

"The company said four main themes will drive portfolio selection: decarbonization, zero-waste mining, technology that changes mining operations, and energy transition metals."

Would Excelsior fill this bill, or is there another level of mining that I don't know about?
