I remain on the sidelines. You are probably correct that IF this deal dematerializes in one way or another, then trips it is.

Are people on the phone talking to the CEO of the merging company? I was on the phone with merger candidates back when I had a financial stake. If the deal is legit, then they cannot say anything. But in other cases, if, for instance, they have little idea that there even is such a deal, a quick phone call could be very helpful. Not naming any names, but anyone want an SSOF gyro for lunch?
