Everybody is happy, right? Longs get a 5% increase. Shorts sell early and have plenty of opportunity to cover later and then sell again at close. Flippers buy under .05 and sell 20% higher.
Reality is that the majority of the $1,700,000 of transactions were 20 to 30% below the previous day's close. Also, there was a $320 tranaction (5000 X .064) at the buzzer, while Level II was showing plenty of shares for sell at .060. Does anyone feel manipulated?
