Correct that there is no company going into the shell that we know of at this point, since there is nothing filed to that extent.

10Q is due in 2 weeks, assuming they file. From the 15-12G they gave notice of suspending filings, but then after that they filed a report. So seems strange - why bother with the 15-12G but then file the report unless there actually is something happening behind the scenes?

I don't think there is another source of news, just speculation. It is a risk/reward play. Maybe we'll make out and all get new cars and go on vacation or retire early, and maybe nothing will happen.
