Sometimes when you are in expansion mode, buying-out a competitor or buying another company with a complete setup plus a talented staff make a whole lot more sense than buying new.
Then there’s the “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket” scenario. We have seen how some local governments reactions in crisis situations vary greatly. Then there is the all important power supply that needs consideration.
Any number of a reasons can be at play here, but I’m expecting a buyout for immediate capacity increase. It just seems like Todd’s style lol
