I’m not so sure that’s true. I’m not sure it isn’t true but certainly don’t feel comfortable making definitive statements one way or the other.

They likely started extremely small to test the process. We know they were slowed by equipment not yet being installed because they told us so.

They also told us, since the equipment has been installed, that production has expanded rapidly.

Phrases like “largest ever production run”, “expect to out grow capacity”, etc have been used. By the company.

Their own PRs have told us about medical device and related applications being developed. Presumably this means prototypes utilizing spider silk, at least to some degree. Likely from production runs. We have been told, with the expanded production, they expect to start filling other requests for material samples. I assume that means they plan to fulfill the M contract AND have material available for other interested parties.

If all of that translates to “no more than a few samples” level of production, your determination around conservative projections is stronger than mine.
