Sadly, none of this mess should have happened. Sure, we would have some inflation while we geared back up, but we had time to offset most of the damage had Biden left things alone with oil and gas. All they had to do was allow all players in the game. America is safest when energy independent. This keeps us out of wars and enriches America instead of Russia and the Mideast, Venezuela etc. Just a terrible missed opportunity. Biden can salvage this mess and compromise the green deal portion for putting back what they changed when they arrived in office. Both sides get a partial win, and it is what is best for America. This is his last chance to get anything passed because after this election they lose the house and possibly the senate.
