The electro-static spray carts are on for about 8 minutes and puts out a very fine mist that encapsulates all exposed surfaces in the room. It doesn't soak the surface because the droplets don't lie on top of each other. The surfaces stay wet for about ten minutes even though the HOCL will kill most pathogens virtually on contact. The ten minute dwell time was what has been typically used during the testing for approval because that was the old standard. The ease of use and advantages of the HOCL spray carts are far better and safer than the UV option. The difference in acceptance is you have a multi billion dollar company pushing the UV option.
