Except unlike a private company the "owners" here get paid no matter what.

If this was truly a private company where the stakeholders are building equity instead of taking salary it would be damn close to break even. I executive compensation is almost as much as they lose a quarter.

Right now Dowing has all the power of the owner and none of the risk.
