You are talking my wheelhouse.

I have 30+years when it comes to Environmental cleanup.

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources state to throw them in the trash, people don't know this and some recyclers charge business to haul away Alkaline batteries

I liked working in Wisconsin, the rules and regulations have common sense for asbestos and lead. Union States MN are over regulated.

I'll give one example of MN lead regulation. (It's a Union money grab)

If a house is going to be demoed to the ground and has flaking lead paint on it, I have to put 6mil poly on the ground 10' out for every floor tall around the house. Put on a Tyvek suit and a 1/2 mask respirator. Wet the lose paint with a Hudson sprayer scrap it off the wall on to the poly put that poly in a plastic or steel drum and send it to a certified landfill, with paperwork.

(Most of the time there is an inspector there pointing out lose paint if you miss it) He too gets paid.

While I am doing that there is a large backhoe waiting for me on the side to get done. With someone inside yelling and telling me that what I am doing is stupid and I agree. Because when I am done, he crushes the house and loads it into trucks.

Why did I need to scrap the lose paint???
I have done dozens of houses that way.

I let my lead Supervisor card expire years ago.

Just saying Wisconsin has common sense when it comes to environmental regulations. Hunting and fishing regulations are better too. Only one fishing pole in the water per person in MN.

Sorry did not mean to bore you with that.

Soon to be officially retired from environmental work.
Dropped my paperwork in the mail two days ago to draw my pension starting July 1st.

If THEIR IS ONE THING I AM SURE ABOUT IS I AM USUALLY WRONG
