Seems like Petey has been lying about this all along.
He has been funneling cash from loan sharks and others to his private company the ailing digitalage. Since he has the felony money laundering and felony obtaining money by false pretense convictions, I am guessing he may have even been syphoning cash to pay for his personal expenses, like his criminal, civil cases, and divorce lawyers.
Petey is known for stealing money from HPNN and customers.
