If you sell a put the most profit you make is the premium and you lock up the value=strike x num shares. if you buy a call your profit is infinite. Your cost is just the premium. if AMC goes to $300 your profit could be very large. if you sell put your profit will be very, very small in comparison. A stupid option player goes for small profit.
Stop giving bad advice to newbie option players.
