I would probably not believe anything published that is not independently attested to (either published by UDF or Centurion). Also, remember UDF C only raised about $50 million before it hit the fan and they stopped. UDF III was nearly bankrupt (which is why UDF IV’s capital raising and then UDF V’s were so important). I just think that if it was as simple as you have put it, the auditors wouldn’t have resigned or the new ones would have been able to publish an opinion and Dr-registration never would have occurred. I have very first-hand knowledge of a more recent short and distort (not that this one was a distort) and the company never missed a filing.
