Eddie Vakser is likely close to broke and any money he has is probably in overseas accounts that cannot be touched. He has a house he lives in that is in a trust. One car for each driver is protected and the junk in the house is figured at depreciated value and is likely not worth enough to exceed the amount that he can protect. So, why sue him? He has hundreds of thousands in previous court judgments that he and his phony companies have not paid. You can't get blood out of a turnip.
Again, everyone should be well aware that law enforcement is terribly underfunded and understaffed. So, Eddie has been lucky enough to fly under the radar. When the number of victims and dollar loss is high enough, he will get popped.
