The fact they stated that there were "early indications" of this event taking places makes me believe it's not him doing it for the good looks. It tells me they have a reason to believe this will be asked for. I agree this will help soften the blow and I'm happy they were fast to keep us updated and letting us know that they can handle it quickly and are very prepared to move forward if this is the case.
